With two different denominations, Alex and Peter chose to celebrate their marriage with two ceremonies: a Russian-Orthodox ceremony, honouring Alex’ family background, followed by an Anglican blessing ceremony. As if it had all been written in the stars, the Russian Cathedral is just a few steps away from Christ Church Vienna. The later is also in walking distance from the famous Belvedere Palace. So, the flow of events for the wedding day was an easy pick.

After some pretty cold and rainy May weeks, Alex’ and Peter’s wedding day was warm, sunny, and full of joy and laughter.

The Orthodox ceremony in the impressing Russian Cathedral was followed by an Anglican blessing in Christ Church, a short stop for traditional Wurst, beer and pretzels at Salm Bräu, and a romantic walk through the Belvedere gardens, an exquisite dinner in a former palace – Hotel Imperial – and a surprise Viennese waltz lesson for the whole wedding party.

Just a quick stop for a traditional Austrian snack: Würstel, beer and pretzels, before heading to the couple shoot, and then to the wedding reception.

Irene and her team did a phenomenal job planning and executing our perfect day. I traveled to Vienna in February of 2015 to meet with Irene, she had two full days lined up of appointments with venues and entertainment options. Her follow up was excellent post visit with organized, regularly scheduled calls to ensure everything was on track. She thought of the things you often forget and helped us with every detail. The wedding in May exceeded all expectations and I would highly recommend her company for any wedding/event. She was awesome.
